The 41st annual Van Buren County CROP (Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty) Hunger Walk was held Sunday, April 30, in Paw Paw. A total of 93 area residents took part in the 3.1 mile walk around downtown Paw Paw, which began and ended at the Paw Paw United Methodist Church. A quarter of all money raised from the walk will be distributed to six area food pantries. Event organizers hope to raise $20,023.
