The Pioneers swept their season series with Gladwin, a feat the Clare seniors have not been able to accomplish before Wednesday and run their record to 6-2-1 for the season.
Clare is at Hemlock on Friday afternoon.
“I was very happy with how we responded to the early goal by Gladwin,” Clare coach James Bond said. ‘We showed we are capable of facing some adversity and finding a way to regroup and win the game. After a couple of games that were never really in doubt, it was probably good for us to face a challenge. Gladwin played well and it was. It was a good win for us.”
