Our final regular season competition (was) Feb. 7th at Chippewa Hills High School. We will then compete at districts in Montabella on February 17th at 10 a.m. (for districts).”
Marion, whose school district superintendent Danyel Prielipp is also the competitive cheer coach, consists of Jennifer Fouch, Lila Krchmar, Taylor Kruse, Aaliyah Nealey, Ellie Pearson, Lila Prielipp, Malley Raymond, J’Lynn Schoonmaker, Madison Sutten, Shawntay VanBuskirk, Ella Wilson, Kylie Adams, Ashley Lewis, Kloie Pefferman and Austin Sandelius.
“Tonight the girls, particularly in round one, were super tight and super loud,” Prielipp said after the Evart meet when her team took first. “They came in with something to prove tonight. They wanted to make over 700. That’s a pretty high score to get over 700. They blasted it with 722.”
Round 1 is strictly motions, round 2 is skills with tumbling, flexibility and jumps and round 3 features mounts.
