Ron lost his father at the age of 15. He was raised by his mother in Grand Rapids. He graduated from Creston High School in 1964 and was joined in marriage to Cathie (Mount) (Flanders) Tattersall December 30, 1966. His ex-wife, children and grandchildren still reside in the area. Ron moved to Memphis in 1994 and remained in Collierville TN (East Memphis) until his passing. Ron was well known for his sense of humor, love of animals, music, cars, gardening and Christmas lights.
He is survived by his children Chad (Brooke) Flanders, Dana Flanders, Dawn (Tom) Juriga, Bret (Susie) Flanders, 10 grandchildren- Brady, Adrienne & Brynn Flanders; Alex Buddemeier; Olivia, Sophia, Sawyer and Sheridan Juriga; Gabriel and Benjamin Flanders; his wife Raelyne and son Mark Flanders of Collierville, TN.
