PAW PAW – Voters in the Paw Paw District Library said “yes” to the library millage renewal on Tuesday, Aug. 4.
“The Library Board and staff are deeply grateful to Paw Paw voters for passing our millage renewal. We are proud of the trust voters have placed in us and remain committed to providing the best possible library service to the Paw Paw community, both now and in the future,” the library said in a statement to The Courier-Leader.
Voters were asked by the library to renew the library’s existing .9571 mill tax to fund library operations for 20 years (2027-2046).
For homes with a taxable value of $100,000, the cost is approximately $95.71 per year or less than $8 per month.
