Sheriff’s office takes 532 calls in April

MARION – April was an extremely busy one for the Osceola CountySheriff’s Office which took 532 calls for service for the month of April. The corrections staff booked 72 subjects into the jail between April 1 to April 30.
The average daily inmate population for April was 62 inmates.
The sheriff’s department reported the following number of calls;
911 Hang ups-3 Abandoned Vehicles-2; Alarms-11; Animal Control-5’ Area Check-18’Arson-1; Assaults/sexual Assaults/Threats-24;
Assist to Other Jurisdictions-18; Attempt to locate-0; Breaking & Entering-4; Check Wellbeing- 18; Civil- 23; Death Notification- 1; Disorderly-11; DNR-5’
Domestic Assaults-12; Fail to Pay (Gas Drive Off)-1; Flee & Elude (Pursuits)-2; Follow-up investigations/Details-25; Found Property-3; Fraud-6; Hit & Run-1; Juvenile Assaults/Runaways-20; Larceny-12; Malicious Destruction of Property-14; Mental Health Calls-6; Minors in Possession- 1; Missing persons-2; Motorist Assist-10; Misc.(PPO Vio,Standby,ETC.)-31
