THREE RIVERS — Three Rivers’ boys’ tennis team opened up regular season play for the fall 2026 season by dropping a close home match to Coldwater 5-3.
Two of the Wildcats’ three wins came in the singles category. At No. 1 singles, Alex Nowak of Three Rivers defeated Joe Searls of Coldwater 6-2, 1-6, 10-3, and at No. 3 singles, Carter Fuller of Three Rivers defeated Coldwater’s Logun Fisher 6-2, 6-0.
At No. 3 doubles, Three Rivers’ duo of Brady Stratton/Brayden McClain defeated Coldwater’s pairing of Nolan Winright/Spenser O’Dell 6-3, 7-5.
With the loss, the Wildcats go to 0-1 to start the season.
