The Allegan girls bowling team remained unbeaten in Wolverine Conference play thanks to wins over Otsego (29-1 on Wednesday, Jan. 19) and Plainwell (30-0 on Friday, Jan. 21).
In the Otsego match, the Tigers won game won 815-598 and game two 832-691.
Leah Snyder led the way in the first game with a 200, followed by Audrey Brink at 173 and Rainah Spohn at 161. Game two saw Harleigh Wesche go for a personal best 200, with Snyder adding a 186.
Baker games both went to Allegan by respective scores of 172-137 and 196-133.
Two bowlers for Allegan against Plainwell were Savannah Beilfuss with a 173 game and Wesche with a 151.
The Allegan boys also won both matches, downing Otsego 28-2 and besting Plainwell 29.5-0.5 to move to 6-1 overall and 5-1 in the league.
Against Otsego, the Tigers got a 208 from Trenton Nagelkirk in an 884-805 win, while Carter Wagner had a 182 in an 846-768 victory in game two. Andrew Snyder (199) and Ryan Brink (176) also performed well in game one, while Nagelkirk had a 180 in game two.
Allegan won the bakers by scores of 149-123 and 164-109.
Highlights for Otsego included Connor Farrish with a 192 game and Gavin Merrill with a 176.
In the Plainwell match, Allegan put together a season-best in game one, winning 977-630. Shane Wesche (233) and Andrew Snyder (223) led the way, followed by Ryan Brink at 196 and Nagelkirk at 190.
Game two went Allegan’s way 862-586, as Snyder bowled a 247.
Bakers went to Allegan by scores of 160-133 and 158-120.
