WYOMING—The 2024-25 season started on a high note for the Allegan girls basketball team.
Traveling to Wyoming to take on Lee, the Tigers used a balanced scoring attack to claim the 68-8 victory.
“This was a big road win for us,” Allegan coach Sharron Thompson said. “We had terrific defense and ball movement on display.”
Bailey Meade paced Allegan with 18 points. Maddie Antkoviak and Ellija Ziemelis joined her in double figures with 13 and 12 points, respectively.
Ellie Bishop added nine points and Alyssa Macherzak chipped in with eight points.
