The Alabama Municipal Electric Authority (AMEA) has announced a Feb 14 2022 deadline for its annual scholarship program. “We give out four scholarships of $2,500 to high school seniors who will be attending schools in the state of Alabama,” said LaFayette City Clerk, Lewis Davidson. “If you have any friends, family members, put the word out. Tell everyone you know. We don’t want to see these scholarships go to waste.” Applications are available at LaFayette City Hall, LaFayette High School, and Chambers Academy.
