PAW PAW – Downtown Paw Paw’s “Christmas in the Village begins Dec. 6.
Community Tree Lighting – Festivities begin at 6 p.m. in front of the Carnegie Center, 129 S. Kalamazoo St. Come together for cookies, hot cocoa, entertainment and caroling with RedArrow Ministries, and the ceremonial lighting of the village Christmas tree by Paw Paw Elementary students.
Dec. 7 – Children’s Christmas Parade – Marchers will step off at 10 a.m. from the parking lot behind St. Julian Winery on South Gremps St., head north to Michigan Avenue, and travel east through downtown to Freshwater Community Church.
Pictures with Santa – Immediately following the parade until 1:30 p.m., visit with Santa in the community room (Entrance C) at Freshwater Community Church. Sponsord by the Paw Paw Downtown Development Authority.
Free Movie at the Strand Theater – Showings at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” Sponsored by the Paw Paw Kiwanis Club

Dec. 12, 13 and 14, Santa at the Carnegie – Visit with Mr. Claus, sit for photos, enjoy holiday crafts and treats:

Dec. 14 – Santa Run – Sign up online at runsignup.com. It begins at Freshwater Church Community at 9 a.m. on a course downtown. Sponsored by the Paw Paw Rotary.
Santa to Make Appearance at Mattawan
MATTAWAN – Santa Claus will make his appearance at Mattawan Memorial Park Saturday, Dec. 7, at 5:30 p.m. as he is ushered into Mattawan at the Mattawan Holiday Parade.
The parade lineup begins at 5 p.m. at the Antwerp Township Hall parking lot. At 5:30 p.m., it will make its way on Front Avenue to Mattawan Memorial Park, downtown, where the Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m.
There will be no parking on Front Avenue during that time.
Lawton to hold “Christmas in the Village” Dec. 13
LAWTON – The Lawton Lions Club will hold a “Christmas in the Village” Parade, Friday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m., followed by Buster’s Hayrides. The Lions Club will use the Lawton Village Hall community room and the library for Santa visits and crafts following the parade, with refreshments at the Lawton Fire Department.
The Lawton Lions Club also extends an invitation to the public to join them in Christmas caroling, Tuesday, Dec. 10, gathering at the Old Winery (Community Center) at 6 p.m.
Kal-Haven Lions Club to hold Kids Christmas Party
GOBLES -The Kal-Haven Lions Club will hold a free Kids’ Christmas Party, Saturday, Dec. 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Gobles United Methodist Church, 210 E. Exchange St.
Santa will pay a visit. Food will be available. Children will be able to choose a gift, and there will be a turkey raffle.
