Lawton to hold “Christmas in the Village” Friday, Dec. 13
LAWTON – The Lawton Lions Club will hold a “Christmas in the Village” Parade, Friday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m., followed by Buster’s Hayrides. The Lions Club will use the Lawton Village Hall community room and the library for Santa visits and crafts following the parade, with refresh-ments at the Lawton Fire Department.
Village Players to Present “A Christmas Carol”
PAW PAW – The Paw Paw Village Players will again present the Charles Dickens’ classic, “A Christmas Carol,” Friday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 14, at 2 and 7 p.m. at the Paw Paw Playhouse at the Lucky Wolf Cafe, 404 E. Michigan Ave., Paw Paw.
This year’s production is directed by veteran actress and director Lisa Grace, with many of the Village Players’ regulars on the stage, as well as many new faces. The story will be told to the audience by Mr. Dickens himself.
Tickets are available online at ppvp.org or at theluckywolfpawpaw.com. General admission is $12. Tickets will be available on the day of the show for $15.
Santa Run to be held Dec. 14

Kal-Haven Lions Club to hold Kids Christmas Party
GOBLES -The Kal-Haven Lions Club will hold a free Kids’ Christmas Party, Saturday, Dec. 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Gobles United Methodist Church, 210 E. Exchange St.
Santa will pay a visit. Food will be available. Children will be able to choose a gift, and there will be a turkey raffle.
Lawrence to welcome Santa Claus
LAWRENCE – The 10th annual Lawrence Hometown Christmas Celebration will be held Saturday, Dec. 14, with a Light Up Parade at 6 p.m., beginning at Lawrence Public Schools, and will travel to the Lawrence Village Park, where the Village Christmas Tree will be lit at 6:30 p.m., following the parade. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served at the LawrenceAmerican Legion Hall at 7 p.m.
Afternoon activities begin at 1 p.m., at the Lawrence Branch of the Van Buren District Li-brary, where crafts and cookies will be available, followed by a visit from Santa Claus, from 2 to 4 p.m.
Lighted truck parade from Oshtemo to Coloma to be held Saturday, Dec. 14
The second annual Lighted Truck Parade will be held Saturday, Dec. 14. It will begin at 9th Street in Oshtemo and end at I-196, west of Coloma. Departuretime is 6 p.m.
