Bloomingdale’s Oktoberfest opens Friday, September 19th

Bloomingdale’s Oktoberfest 2025 will kick off on Friday, Sept. 19, at Augustus Haven Park, here, for a three-day run, and will conclude on Sunday, Sept. 21. The festival will feature a wide variety of events and activities for all ages.
On Friday, a steel drum performance will be held in the park. The beer tent and food trucks will open at 5 p.m. A DJ and music trivia will wrap up the night, beginning at 7 p.m.
Saturday’s events will open with a breakfast at Korner St. Café. Vendors and food trucks will be in and around the park. The Van Buren District Library Bloomindale Branch will hold a book sale. Helicopter rides will be available, in addition to a petting zoo and face painting. Galvan Industries will sponsor a car show. An inflatable bounce house will also be in the park.
Other events and activities on Saturday include a quarter auction, a cornhole tournament, cloggers, music, a blacksmith, cow pie bingo and the beer tent. The day’s activities will conclude with a dance party and fireworks.
Oktoberfest will wrap up Sunday with a pancake breakfast at the Bloomingdale Fire Department from 8 to 11 a.m.
