The LaFayette Bulldogs varsity basketball team kicked off the basketball season last week with a very busy schedule.
The Bulldogs hosted Lee-Scott Academy during school hours, falling short 75-63.
Jordan Johnson lead the Dawgs with 18 points and Jr Robinson added 12 points.
The Bulldog varsity girls fell short 12-44.
The Bulldog Jr Varsity team pulled off a victory 42-21. #2 Carlise with11points and #3 Jackson with 10 points led the team.
Next up the Bulldogs hosted Auburn High School at the Bulldog palace. The varsity boys were beaten, 82-56; the varsity girls lost, 82-14; and the junior varsity was edged, 57-42.
Next up. The Varsity Bulldogs traveled to Gaston on Saturday and brought back a 59-45 victory. Johnson with 27 high games points and Harrington with 18 points were high scorers.
On Monday night the Bulldogs traveled back on the road to Opelika Al to take on the Opelika Bulldogs. Unfortunately all the Bulldogs team fell short once more. Opelika scored an 84-46 victory over the varsity boys; the Lady Bulldogs had trouble scoring, losing 62-7; and the junior varsity was defeated 44-29.
