On Feb. 14, Lawton Community Schools held a ceremony for the 2024-25 Lawton Blue
Devil Hall of Fame inductees. Named to this year’s Hall of Fame induction class are
Janine and Troy Johnson (shown second from left and center) – Outstanding dedication in
coaching, volunteerism, and supporting Lawton Community Schools’ students. The late
Dixie Boothby (represented by her daughter, Tonda Boothby, second from right) – Lawton
teacher, dedicated to students, founder of the Lawton High School chapter of the National
Honor Society, and Nathan and Daniel Orozco (far left and far right) – Lawton High School
graduates who showed excellence in athletics with a variety of All-State honors, school records, and multiple state champions.
