Clare wrestlers fall to Cadillac

Clare’s wrestling team lost to Cadillac 42-33 in wresting action on Dec. 3.
For Clare against Cadillac,
Kyle McGraw (120) beat Noah Follow 18-3 for a technical fall, Kennedy Boxx (126) pinned Emily Bown; Chris Green (157) lost 3-0 to Maximus Narsovich; Isaiah Hilliard was pinned by Lyon Sampson; Marshal Strouse (190) nipped Davin Shively 5-3; Otis Fry (215) pinned Kaleb Gregory and Jackson Boxx (285) pinned Shawn Paszkowski.
Clare forfeit at 132, 238, 144, and 150. There was a double forfeit at 113 and 175.
Clare lost to Reed City 60-12.
For Clare, Kyle McGraw pinned Sean Trowbridge in 17 seconds ad Otis Fry (215) pinned Braylen Saxton. Thomas Gordan-Johnson (157) was pinned by Blaise Amos in 1:07, Chris Green (165) was pinned in 1:11 by Andrew Kiaunis. Isaiah Hilliard (175) was pinned in 3:23 by Gabe Wolverton. Marshal Strouse (190) was pinned by Ethan Phillips in 43 seconds. Lucas Armstrong (285) was pinned in 17 seconds by Christopher Wolgamott.
Clare wrestled on Dec. 6 in the Meridian Dual Tournament.
Clare lost 57-18 to Ithaca. For Clare, Kyle McGraw (120) won by forfeit, Chris Green (150) pinned Greyson Merchant in 1:47. Otis Fry (190) pinned Chris Hinterman lost their matches. Clare forfeited at seven classes.
Clare lost at Meridian to Saginaw Michigan Lutheran Seminary. Clare won four matches by pin. It was Kyle McGraw (120) over Cullan Burke in 1:29, Boxx (126) over Jackson Wakefield in 44 seconds, Chris Greene (150) over Wyatt Retberg in 1:20 and Fry (190) over Christopher Chandler in 1:37.
