Tom and Rosie Hunter met with Allegan Councilmembers Will Walker and Melanie Hooker at Mugshots on Friday, Feb. 21, 2025. The council members are in their first terms on the city council and want to hear from the residents of Allegan about their concerns, ideas for improvement, and things that are going well. During the conversations, the duo heard ideas for offering more outdoor activities in the city like a sledding hill and a skating rink on the riverfront. Thoughts also went to finding bike routes to the Sports Center. Residents brought up questions regarding ordinances and their development. The next Coffee with the Council is scheduled for Friday, March 21st from 8-10am at Minnie’s. All are welcome to join the round table conversation.
