CONSTANTINE — A few Constantine baseball standouts recently received All-District honors for their performances during the season.
First baseman Cooper McDonald, infielder Jack Larink, catcher Brody Godfrey and outfielder Austin Forrester were the recipients of the All-District awards for the 2025 season.
The Falcons went 20-11 during the regular season, defeating Buchanan in the Division 3 district semis before losing to eventual regional finalist Bridgman 6-5 in the district finals.
In district play, McDonald went 1-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored against Buchanan, and went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in the loss to Bridgman.
Larink had a big game against Buchanan for the Falcons in the district semis, going 2-for-3 with two walks, five runs scored, and two stolen bases. In the district finals against the Bees, Larink went 1-for-4 at the dish.
Godfrey also had a good performance going both ways as a hitter and a pitcher. In the district semis, Godfrey went 2-for-2 at the plate with three RBI, two walks, a stolen base, a sacrifice fly, and two runs scored, while pitching four innings as the starter, giving up five runs on six hits. In the district finals, Godfrey started behind the plate and went 3-for-4.
Forrester had a multi-hit game for the Falcons in the district semis, finishing 3-for-5 on the day with a double, two RBI and a run scored against Buchanan. Against Bridgman, Forrester went 0-for-4.
Forrester and McDonald were also named All-Conference players during the regular season in the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
