ALLEGAN – Deputies with the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a fatal crash on April 16 at approximately 4:23 a.m. on 58th street near 130th Avenue in Manlius Township.
Deputies say preliminary investigation shows that a southbound vehicle on 58th Street had crossed the center line and struck a north bound vehicle on 58th Street.
The driver of the north bound vehicle, 26-year-old Anthony Dolmos (26), was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the south bound vehicle was taken to the Holland Hospital for nonlife threatening injuries.
Both vehicles had one passenger who were left the scene without injury. Alcohol does appear to be a factor in this crash.
Deputies said following the accident, 58th street near 130th Avenue was temporarily closed as the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office Reconstruction Team investigated the crash. Assisting with this crash was Life EMS and the Fennville Fire Department.
