Deputies rescued jet skiers who spilled in Lake Michigan

Deputies from the Marine Division of the Van Buren County Sheriff Department assigned to South Haven rescued jet ski boaters who were spilled in the high waves of Lake Michigan on Saturday afternoon.
The incident occurred approximately two miles southwest of the lighthouse. The jet ski overturned and could not be righted. Deputies pulled the occupants from the water. They and their jet ski were safely returned to shore.
SHAES (pictured) also responded with its fireboat. Red flags were flying along the shoreline with waves reported four-to-six feet.
