Easter Egg Hunt at Hicks Park

On Saturday, April 9, the City of Plainwell held its annual Easter Egg Hunt at Hicks Park. The festivities began at 10 a.m. with the 2-to-4-year-old age group, followed 15 minutes later by the 5-to-7 year olds and finally, 15 minutes after that, the 8-to-10 year olds.
In addition to the egg hunt, treats such as doughnuts were available and a traveling petting zoo was also on hand. The event concluded with a prize raffle that included such items as Easter baskets filled with goodies, fishing poles and bikes. (Photos by Jason Wesseldyk)
