It’s summertime 2024 which means it is time for Marion, MI to officially kick off the fair season June 9 – 15 with the opening of the Annual Marion Fair at the historic Marion Fairgrounds/Veterans Memorial Park.
The popular six-day event will once again see Youth and 4-H members coming together in the livestock exhibit area for two days of downright exciting and intense competition. At 9:00 a.m Monday June 10th in the small animal barn, exhibitors will compete in rabbit, poultry showmanship and breed competition before an ever eagle eyed judges. Small Animal Sweepstakes will follow. Dairy Show judging will close out the day at 3:00 p.m. Competition resumes Tuesday June 11th with Goat, Sheep, Lamb, Swine and Beef judging.
Horses and their riders take the spotlight at 9:00 a.m Thursday. June 13th for the Horse Show followed by the Large Animal Sweepstakes at 6:00 p.m.
Participants will turn their focus to the annual Large and Small Animal Market Sale on Friday, June 14th at 6:00 p.m. in the livestock show arena. Please support these fine young people who work hard all year with their animals. Make sure to attend and purchase something at this year’s sale if at all possible.
In addition to action in the animal barns there will be plenty of activity on the midway when it officially opens with a nice selection of amusement rides and games Wednesday June 12th. – Saturday June 15th.

shows; Monday June 10, – Garden Stock Tractor Pull – 7:00 p.m. , Tuesday June 11, – 7:00 p.m. Antique Tractor Pull, Truck and Tractor Pull, Wednesday June 12th 5:00 p.m. – Grandstand Show – Aaron Watson and Little Texas! with special guests Freshwater Roots and Dusty Leigh! Thursday June 13th. – 7:00 p.m. West Michigan Pullers – Truck and Tractor Pull. Friday June 14th – 7:00 p.m. Bump N Run Derby, Saturday June 15th The ever-popular Figure 8 Derby wraps up the fair Come enjoy the fun with the whole family at the 2024 Marion Fair
