FARWELL — Farwell’s wrestling team lost 42-0 in team district action on Wednesday to Coleman.
Farswell competed in the Jack Pine Conference tournament last weekend.
Lexi Vincent at 126 pounds was pinned by Genaro Soto of St. Louis in 37 seconds, and lost 17-0 to Brodie Pierce of Sanford Meridian to make the seventh place match.
Elliot Vasquez wrestled at 132 pounds for Farwell and was pinned in 11 seconds by Michael Curtiss of Shepherd and in 58 seconds by Brayden Schroeder of Gladwin to make the seventh-place match.
Tyrek Thrush wrestled for Farwell at 150 pounds. He was pinned by Trenton Farkas of St. Louis in 14 seconds and was pinned by Demian Kuhn of Ogemaw Heights in 1:00.
Farwell will compete in individual wrestling action this weekend. The top four finishers in each weight class will advance to regionals on Feb.15.
