Farwell girls runners second

FARWELL – Farwell girls were second and Harrison third in the Pumpkin Patch Invitational on Tuesday.
Elk Rapids was first (26) followed by Farwell (38) and Harrison (56).
For Farwell, Isabella Eppert was first (20:19.53), Addyson Thormeier was seventh (23:02.79), Ivy Frisch was 13th (24:48.88), Evalynne Bell was 14th (24:49;05) and Rhylee Wladysiak was 24th (33:15.94).
For Harrison, Arie Workman was eighth (23:30.29), Hope Purvis was 17th (27:51.20), Madylynne Gross was 19th (28:34.83), Isabel Heath was 20th (28:36.77), and KyLeigh Briggs was 22nd (29;29.96).
In the five-team boys race, Roscommon was first with 39 followed by Elk Rapids (52), Central Michigan Homeschool Athletics (61), Hesperia (94) and Harrison (109). Farwell didn’t have enough runners to post a team score.
For Harrison, Logan Young was fifth (18:19.73), Malachi Coulson was 31st (21:08.73), Eli Wing was 34th (21:44.60), Gavin Jensen was 35th (21:45.13), Cory Westbrook was 41st (22:26.79) and Kaiden Eichhorn was 49th (26:52.51).
For Farwell, Kegan Terrian was 11th (18:38;26), Matthew Firman was 30th (21:05.45), and Landon Barnett (21:35.90) was 33rd
Farwell will be at the Mointabella Mustang Invitational on Friday, Oc; 11 and the final Jack Pine Conference jamboree on Oct. 16. Harrison will also be at the jamboree on Oct. 16 and Saturday will be at the 2024 Oiler Blue and Gold Invitational.
