FARWELL — Farwell wrestlers were in action earlier this week.
“We wrestled in Sanford,” Farwell coach Ryan Cutler said. “We wrestled St. Louis and had a blowout loss but then we wrestled Pinconning and we got the win. It was 36-36. It went to the final tiebreaker which is a coin flip.”
Farwell winners were Millie McCauley, Alexis Johnston . Tyreek Thrush. Grace Thrush, Tessa Pipes and Cooper Stover.
Clare wrestlers on Wednesday lost to Bullock Creek 27-21 and to Gladwin 63-17.
For Clare against Bullock Creek, Kyle McGraw beat Bentley Longton 18-6. Isaiah Hillard beat Luke Mosey 17-1. Otis Fry pinned Henry Ware. Jackson Boxx lost a 2-1 decision to CJ Tetloff.
In the match with Gladwin, McGraw lost to Kolten Greaves 5-3. Hilliard pinned Daniel Fishel in 4:16. Chris Green be an Ethan Webb in 4:16. Fry had a pin in 58 seconds over Logan Trevillian. Boxx was pinned by Nick Brasseur.
