Five area churches donate disaster relief supplies

Members of the Hopkins, Martin, Shelbyville, Allegan, and Wayland United Methodist Churches gathered together on Sunday, February 23rd to assemble buckets of supplies for the UMCOR disaster relief program.
The UMCOR program aims to enable those affected by floods, hurricanes, and tornadoes to begin the overwhelming job of cleaning up.
Each five-gallon bucket contains a variety of cleaning chemicals, tools, and protective gear.
Altogether, the combined five church group assembled 38 buckets.
Members of the five congregations donated the supplies.
