HARRISON — Harrison’s softball team picked up a 12-10 win on Saturday over Whittemore-Prescott despite almost squandering a 10-run lead.
Harrison had seven hits in the games while Whittemore-Prescott had five.
Allison Whitaker was the starting pitcher for Harrison. She gave up five hits and 10 runs in 3.1 innings, striking out five and walked three.
Neff also had three RBIS. Janessa O’Day had two hits while O’Day and Hayley McDonald had two walks apiece.
Harrison had previously loss 12-4 to Lake City. Allison Whitaker took the loss for Harrison, allowing eight hits and 12 runs but just four earned, in five innings, and striking out five.
Neff and Brionna Buff had two hits for Harrison. Neff also stole two bases.
