“Happy with how we came out of break, executed pretty well, spread the scoring around and had 15 assists,” head coach Dave Maxwell said. “Sofia Coker had her usual strong game, Izzy Jones saw the floor well, dishing out six of those assists.”
Coker put in six points in the opening quarter to help Clare get off to a good start, and she hit a three pointer and had five total points in the second, with Raegan Louch netting six points in the second, as it was a 30-18 Clare lead at the half.
Jones had four points in the third as the Pioneers saw a 43-31 lead entering the fourth, where they went-six-of-six from the line.
Leading the way was Coker with 15 points, three rebounds and two steals, Megan Gross had 10 points, Louch finished with nine points, Jones and Ava Crowder had eight points apiece Hattie Veenkant netted four and Kiersten Fouts chipped in with two points. Jones also had three rebounds and two steals.
