Lawton falls in district finals

LAWTON — Lawton’s football season came to an end in the second week off the playoffs with a 26-0 loss to Schoolcraft in Friday’s district title game.
Lawton’s season ends at 7-4. Schoolcraft takes a 9-2 record into the regional title game on Friday.
Schoolcraft scored in the first quarter for a 6-0 lead on a 13-yard run.
Dave Ostend had a 49-yard interception return for a touchdown in the second quarter and Jack DeVries passed five yards to Evan Feller to make it 19-0 at halftime.
DeVries had a 11-yard pass to Dave Enright in the third quarter to make it 26-0.
Schoolcraft had a 302-269 lead in total yards over Lawton which lost three fumbles and threw two pass interceptions.
Brady Quick passed for 125 yards on seven pass completions. His longest was for 41 yards.
Hudson Merriman caught five passes for 117 yards. He rushed five times for 44 yards.
