Marion graduation set for May 27

MARION ā€“ Important dates for Marion High School Seniors has been set for upcoming days, the district announced:
Seniors last day of school: Friday, May 20. Cap and gown pickup, Friday, May 20, when senior sign out packets are turned in.
Awards Assembly Practice is Wednesday, May 25 at 10 a.m.; award assembly is Wednesday, May 25 at 1 p.m. Graduation practice is Friday, May 27 at noon; Graduation is May 27 at 7 p.m.
The administration is advising students to stay home from school if they are showing any signs of an infectious disease like the flu or covid-19 such as: fever/chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle/body aches, headache, the new loss of taste/smell, sore throat, congestion/runny nose, nausea/vomiting, or diarrhea.
It was also announced the National Honor Society is hosting a blood drive Tuesday, May 17th, 10:30 a.m. 4 p.m. You have to be 16 or older to donate. There will be a signup sheet posted near the school store. Those who are 16 must complete a parent consent form, which can be picked up at the school.
