It finally happened. I am retired! Who could ask for more? Then it happened. We had planned to sell the office, but God had something better in mind. Through the grapevine I learned of a doctor who may be interested in leasing the office. To make a long story short, we signed a leasing contract, and the office is now occupied by AA Health Partners, who also have offices in Saginaw and Frankenmuth. Sadly, Dr. Robert Vanderbrook is no longer at the office, despite everyone’s efforts to keep him there. He has moved to another local place, and we wish him and his patients the very best.
Allison Haley, FNP-C is now the main physician at the office and is providing a full range of medical services. She is supported in her work by Dr. Altammash Amin, MD. of Saginaw, Shayla Letts, a medical assistant, and Jenna Mckinly, who is in training. They accept a wide range of insurances including Medicaid and Medicare. Among service provided are same day acute care, blood pressure screening, providing medication review and prescriptions, full assessment of health and wellness (blood draw and analysis, urine screening, infection, and genetic site testing, pap testing). When mental and emotional issues present themselves, a referral is made to an appropriate specialist. Patients of all socio-economic status, race, sexual orientation, age, gender and illness are accepted. Their integrated, wholistic approach guarantees the best care possible. Allison Haley is accepting new patients while continuing medical care for former Amy Painter’s patients.
AA Health Partners is affiliated with MI-Michigan and Covenant health systems and their hospitals, are supported by McLaren as needed, and their physician groups who quickly respond to referrals and provide any services not provided by them. Usually X-rays, CAT scans, and MRIs and other assessments are done in a timely manner, along with appropriate treatments.
Who could ask for more? Patients are treated with utmost respect, hospitality, and made to feel comfortable and at ease. I wish Allison Haley, Family Nurse Practitioner, and her crew the greatest success providing personal medical services for our community. We are very blessed to have these health professionals in our community. Sometimes God doesn’t answer our prayers, he has something better in mind.
