Middle Branch deals with wages, salaries

MARION – Middle Branch Township had its annual meeting this past Monday with the focus being on wages and salaries.
The board was scheduled to set wages and salaries for the following township officers: Supervisor, treasurer, deputy treasurer, clerk, deputy clerk, trustee, hall monitor, assessor, Board of Review, cemetery clerk and election workers.
Wages were also set for those who do the mowing, trimming, raking/picking up cemetery rubbish collection, shoveling, garbage day worker, ARPA committee, ordinance officer training, education, workshops and conferences.
Board members also dealt with the following issues:
ADT Invoice; Butler, old equipment; Par Plan grant for cameras; Bill for Rubbish Day; No newsletter; generator lights ARPA funds, Fifth Avenue work and a new computer.
The next meeting is set for March 14 with the budget being the main focus.
