Mr. William A. (Billy) Brown

Mr.William A. (Billy) Brown 81 of Roanoke, Alabama died Friday February 25, 2022 at his residence.
Billy was born in Roanoke, Alabama May 14, 1940 to the late Awbrey Charlie Brown and the late Lois Bailey Brown,
he was a member of the First Baptist Church in LaFayette, he retired from Liberty National Life Insurance Co. after 30 years of service, after retirement he drove a school bus for the Chambers County Board Of Education, and also sang with the Brown Brothers Quartet. Funeral services will be held Monday February 28, 2022 at 2PM at the First Baptist Church in LaFayette with burial in the LaFayette City Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Ferguson and the Rev. Vince Lee officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Monday from 12 Noon until 2PM prior to the service. He is survived by his Wife Betty Roberts Brown of Roanoke, Al., Daughter Kim (Bill) Ragle of Roanoke, Al., Brother Ford (Pat) Brown
of Lanett, Al., 4 Grandchildren Elise Burgess, Trae Burgess, Britney Brown, Alayna Brown, 1 Great Grandchild Hendrix Burgess. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Son Kevin (Ziggy) Brown, Sisters Vivian Nixon, Ann Carson, Brothers James Brown, Casper Brown. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church in LaFayette or to Chattahoochee Hospice in his memory.
