Nancy Lou Siskaninetz

Nancy Lou (Donovan) Siskaninetz passed away June 30, 2022 at the Rose Arbor Residence in Kalamazoo. She was born June 30. 1942, in Bangor to Rex and Lillian (Briggs) Donovan.
She was a graduate of Lawrence High School in 1960. Nancy married the love of her life, George Siskaninetz, on July 16, 1960. They enjoyed many years together traveling and raising their two children. Nancy retired from Paw Paw Public Schools after serving 35 years in food service and the Learning Tree Daycare. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nancy also enjoyed reading, camping and going to the many casinos with George. She was a big Elvis fan after seeing him live at Wings Stadium, they visited Graceland twice. George preceded Nancy in death in 2018, also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, John Donovan and Rex Eugene Donovan and one sister, Dorothy Krasovich.
Surviving are her children Lynn Staggs of Kalamazoo and Daniel (Paula) Siskaninetz of Gobles, grandchildren, Joshua (Megan) Staggs, Sr, Matthew Staggs and Rex Siskaninetz. four great grandchildren, Madalyn, Gunner, Joshua Staggs, Jr., and Lillian, one sister, Patricia Green of Lawrence, brother in law, Paul (Betty) Siskaninetz of Lawton, and a special niece, Deborah (Ken) Devening of Arizona, along with many other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday July 8, beginning at 11 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave., Paw Paw, where a memorial service will be held at noon with James Abshagen officiating. Inurnment will take place at Lakeside Cemetery, Decatur.
