Foam recycling schedule set for ’25
Foam recycling is offered in the city of Sturgis on three dates in 2025: April 12, July 12 and Oct. 11, at the compost site, 27751 E. Fawn River Road.
Accepted items include clean polystyrene foam, including post-consumer cups and “to-go” containers, egg cartons, ice chests, rinsed meat trays, packaging foam (such as used for shipment of electronics) and anything with the #6 “chasing-arrows” recycling triangle.

Sturgis Fest schedule announced
Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce has confirmed the daily schedule for 2025 “Sturgis Fest.”
June 24: Kick-off dinner, Sturges-Young Center for the Arts.
June 25: Family Night.
June 26: Bike Night.
June 27: Hispanic heritage celebration, classic car cruise-in and “Electric Night Parade.”
June 28: Sports Day and fireworks display.
Theme for this year’s festival is “Through Time.”
