Albert John Radspieler II, a resident of Allegan, Michigan, age 83 bid farewell to this world on April 30, 2024. Born on January 19, 1941, to the late Albert John Radspieler Sr. and Antoinette “Ann” (Wapienik) Radspieler, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Radspieler, in 2009 and brother-in-law David Jones. Survivors include his sister, Phyllis Jones; nieces Phyllis Elizabeth Jones and Dijana Jones (Reed) and many cousins. Al’s legacy will endure through his long-time partner, Patricia Petersen, and numerous close friends who found his presence profoundly enriching.
Al evolved into a man of fortitude and wit. His honorable discharge from the Army exemplified his life of service and determination, laying the groundwork for his subsequent success as a real estate investor. Beyond his professional pursuits, those acquainted with Al valued his unique capacity for sharp analytical insight, direct approach, and boundless energy. Al’s approach to life was as captivating as the stories he shared, which seemed endless and prized by many!
Al’s engaging perspective on the world left an indelible mark on all fortunate enough to cross paths with him. Al will be affectionately remembered not only for his accomplishments and talents but also for the distinctive personality he imparted on everyone he encountered. He possessed an unwavering sense of purpose, not only in assisting/helping those around him but also in providing wildlife habitats. That was his passion! ‘The animals need a place to eat and live too’ Al would often say. Al derived great fulfillment from planting food plots, planting trees, setting up birdhouses and nurturing the fish, leaving behind a legacy of care and stewardship for the natural world. Burial has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held June 22, 2024, from 11:00am to 1:30pm at New Hope Baptist Church. 2011 Lincoln Rd. in Allegan., MI. 49010.
