Brent W. DeGeer, age 47 of Lake, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland. Brent was born the son of George H. and Nancy A. (Henry) DeGeer on January 5, 1977 in Reed City. He was united in marriage to Virginia “Ginnie” S. Cashen on June 21, 2013; nearly celebrating their eleventh anniversary. Brent had worked as a truck driver; he loved MSU Football, camping and spending time with his family.
Survivors included his wife, Ginnie; children Samantha DeGeer of Baldwin, Brandon DeGeer of Mt. Pleasant and the light of his life Emilee DeGeer of Lake; his parents George DeGeer of Lake and Nancy DeGeer of Remus; siblings Daniel Sims of Mt. Pleasant and Christina (Jess) Rolston of Wisconsin; two granddaughters Madison and Harper.
Visitation and services will take place on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at the Farwell Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 11 A.M. with services to start at 1 P.M.
