Carol Lorraine Kollar, 80, of Allegan passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022 at her beloved cottage on Muskrat Lake. Carol shared many wonderful times with a large circle of friends and was always ready for an adventure. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and Nana to her flock. Listening without judgement and solid advice could always be counted on from her. Carol loved her garden, her daily messages on the computer to her friends and could brighten your day, even while it rained. You would always feel better after a visit.
Carol was born August 21, 1941 in Allegan, MI. the daughter of the late John and Josephine Marsteiner. She worked at Pipp and Allegan General Hospital for her entire career.
Surviving are her three children, Richard and Roxanne (Johnson) Kollar, James D. Kollar and Deborah (Kollar) and Kevin Keith; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and sibling, Ron Marsteiner.
There will be a Celebration of Life at Carol’s home on Saturday, August 27th from 12pm to 3pm rain or shine!

Carol and I have been close friends for over 60 years. We texted every morning while we had our 2 cups of morning coffee. She was such a special person and loved by everyone who knew her. I will miss her zest for working in her garden and how her beautiful flowers would grow. There will forever be loneliness in my heart for my dearest friend. I’ll see you on the other side.
Carol and I have been friends for 65 years, we messaged daily, I so miss those daily chats.
A beautiful friend, who will be missed by many.
