Dan Beebe of Plainwell, Michigan passed away on November 16th, 2024. He was born on April 27th,1957 in Middletown, Ohio. The Family moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan when Dan was a young child. Dan graduated from Gull Lake High School in 1975. He started his career as a carpenter, and worked in shipping and receiving for PNC bank. Dan had a heart of gold and loved his family and friends. They were very important to him and Dan called them on a weekly basis to chat and keep in touch.
Dan had a fantastic sense of humor. He enjoyed small engine repair, bonfires, boating on Pine Lake and the good things in life. Dan could sit and talk to the older generation for hours. Dan was a history buff and enjoyed listening to stories from days gone by. Dan spent his summers at Pine Lake MI where he enjoyed boating, swimming, and he was an avid
water skier.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Doug Beebe.
Surviving are his Fiance, Melinda Ritchie and her family, Bill Ritchie and Emily (Travis) Wycoff; Brother, Tim Beebe, Sisters Sheri (Jim) Ferrari, Robin (Kirk) Evans;
Nieces and Nephews include Kelly (John) Paulsen, Kevin (Nancy) Beebe, Lindsay (Justin) VanFerrari, Andrew (Bri) Ferrari, Matt (Emily) Evans and Tyler Evans. Dan had a special place in his heart for his great niece Vaya Ferrari, He enjoyed a special connection with Bill and Emily Ritchie, and his lifelong friend Dave Peeters. He also had fond memories of Pine Lake and the Cooper Clan. After his final discharge from the hospital, Dan’s wishes were fulfilled. He was able to be with his family and friends for one last celebration with a bonfire in which Dan surprised his guests by riding in on his ATV. Classic Dan!
According to his wishes, Dan has been cremated. A gathering with family will occur at a later date.
