Diane Rumsey Grimm, 70, of Mattawan, passed away Sunday, Aug. 25, 2024, at her home. She was born May 25, 1954, in East Lansing, Michigan, the daughter of the late Dalton C. Rumsey Sr. and Wilma F. (Blaesing) Rumsey.
Diane was a longtime active member at Paw Paw United Methodist Church. She also donated her time to Wings of God Transition Home, Paw Paw, and Lakeview Foundation Community Thrift Store, Paw Paw.
On May 27, 1978, in Dowagiac, Michigan, she married Douglas Grimm, who survives.
She is also survived by her daughter, Sarah M. Grove of North East, MD; son, Justin D. Grimm of Gurley, AL; two grandchildren, Keira Grove and Lukas Grove; three brothers, Dalton C. (Tricia) Rumsey, Jr., of Seymour, TN, W.M. Joseph (Sue) Rumsey of Kalamazoo and Brian D. (Julie) Rumsey of Paw Paw; brother-in law, Randy Luckett of Spring Lake, MI; and her best friend, Margaret R. Johnson of Paw Paw.
Family and friends are invited to visit Friday, Aug. 30, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave., Paw Paw. Memorial services will follow at Paw Paw United Methodist Church, at 11a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, with the Rev. Len Schoenherr officiating.
