Dianne Marie Beck entered into God’s Heavenly Kingdom on Sunday, January 2, 2022. She
was born July 12, 1959 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Richard and Betty (Sutton) Nichols. On
September 2, 1975 in Holland, Michigan, Dianne was married to her first love, her best friend,
John Beck. John and Dianne were married for 46 years and spent many hours going for drives
or just sitting together in their chairs holding hands and enjoying each other’s company.
Together, John and Dianne created their beautiful family which was Dianne’s pride and joy. In
addition to gardening, growing and working with flowers, doing crafts and adventures with her
sisters, she spent much of her time at their cabin in Howard City with her gnome and fairy
collections or with her 14 Grandchildren. Dianne also enjoyed photography and was always
happy to donate her time and talents to those in need. Family, Faith and Love were the center
of Dianne’s life. She was happiest when surrounded by her family. She was a woman of strong
faith and was a member of the Friendship Wesleyan Church of Plainwell. Surviving are her
husband, John Beck and her children, Leonard (Mindy) Beck of Allendale, Nathen (Meredith)
Beck of Florida, Angel (Jeff) Hopkins of Allegan, Bill (Ashley) Beck of Plainwell and Angela
(Donnie) Sanford of Plainwell; 14 grandchildren, Bella, Gibson, Sadie, Sophia, Alyssa (Keith),
Bridgett, Laney, Harper, Matthew, Aiden, Bailey, Trenton, Gabriella and Jaxon; sisters Carol
Bailey, Sally (Earl) Miles, Audrey (Farish) Randolph and Judy (Bob) Munson along with many
nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons Steven and Mathew and
brother, Richard. Friends may visit with Dianne’s family from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, Thursday,
January 6 th , 2022 at the Friendship Wesleyan Church in Plainwell. A funeral service will take
place at 2:00pm, Friday, January 7 th , 2022 at Plainwell First United Methodist Church, 200 Park
St., with Pastor Kevin Smith officiating. Masks are required for the funeral service. Burial will
follow at Mountain Home Cemetery in Otsego. Contributions in memory of Dianne may be
