Dorothy was born October 18, 1937 in Lansing, the daughter of Tennoise Anthony and Marion Jean. She graduated from Lansing Everett High School with the class of 1956. In 1959 she married Edward Loren Williams. Dorothy loved being a wife, mother and homemaker. She made pouty babies, quilted, loved to bake and made the best chocolate turtles and homemade Reese’s cups. When Kevin was growing up, he and Dorothy would watch roller derby together. She loved a good game of bowling or bingo, thrift shopping, and swinging at the park. Dorothy rode her bike just about everywhere. She liked puzzles and crosswords, and if rocking in a rocking chair was a sport, she would have been a world champion. More than anything, she loved spending time with her three granddaughters, great-grandchildren and grand-doggies, and spoiled all of them rotten with way too many treats.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Kevin Williams; granddaughters, Nichole Williams and Andy Ehle, Kristin Sentz and Kaylee Williams and Tracey Pohl; great grandchildren, Jaxon, Emma, Arianna, Addison, Ainsley, Renly and Adley; close friend and co-mother-in-law; Pam Luce; Debbie (Scott) Lutz; and her grand-dogs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; parents, sister, Shirley McElmurray; and brother, Art Jean.
