Dylan Mathew Clyne of Lake, known by many as Dyl Pickle or Sweet Pea, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the young age of 25.
Dylan was born on August 27, 1999, in Flint to parents Philip Clyne and Stacy (Wolfe) Fickes. Dylan graduated from Ogemaw Heights High School in West Branch, Class of 2017 and is remembered as being the class clown. He was an active member of the Oak Grove Church in Gladwin, and he loved to fish. He worked as a cook at Ruckle’s Pier in Clare for the past several years. All who were privileged to know Dylan can attest to his uncanny ability to light up a room with his infectious smile. He was funny, always spoke his mind, and meant what he said.
Dylan is survived by his dad, Philip Clyne of Detroit; mom, Stacy Fickes of Lake; cousins, Jennifer Digard and her daughter Joslyn, Amber Worsham, and Curtis Collins; uncles, Donald Wolfe and Steven Wolfe; aunt, Dina (Howard) Collins; close friends, Tyler Simrau and Jeremy Ricketts; and many other friends, colleagues and classmates whom will all miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wolfe, Mr. and Mrs. Clyne; two aunts, Terry Clyne and Annette Clyne; and an uncle, Eric Clyne.
In his short time on earth, Dylan made a positive impact on all whom he came into contact with. In true fashion, he continued to give through donation with Gift of Life Michigan.
