Greg Fuller, a 78 year old Farwell, Michigan resident, passed away on July 15, 2024. He was born to Donald Fuller and Betty Fuller on February 19, 1946 in Streator, Illinois. He grew up in Livonia, Michigan where he attended Clarenceville High School. After graduation he attended Michigan Tech University before enlisting in the Army. He served 2 tours in Viet Nam in 1969-70, as an Aero Scout Helicopter Pilot. He received many awards and medals including the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Bronze Star.
After the war he settled in Livonia where he raised his two boys. He was a fireman and business owner before moving to Clare with his second wife, Ellen Fuller. He retired in Farwell in 2008 after working as a Land Surveyor, for Paul Lapham and Associates, for 20 years.
He took great delight in nature photography and framing pictures for others. He was an animal lover and active in the Clare VFW. He was also a member of the Clare Moose and the Farwell American Legion.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Ellen Fuller, his two sons, David (Kim) Fuller of Marietta, GA and G. Scott Fuller (Erin Richmond) of Redford, MI, and 4 grandchildren, Cole, Abigail, Madeline and Drew Fuller. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Kira (Stu) Harris, Keith (Lisa) Shoemaker, Becky (Randy) Vaughan, Rachel Weaver and Tim Allen, great nieces and nephews, Braylon, Grayson, Keegan, Brhea and Gavin Harris, Ryan and Renee’ Vaughan and great great nephew Rowan Sator. He was predeceased by his parents, Betty and Don Fuller.
A memorial service will be held at the Clare VFW, 145 Wilcox Pkwy., Clare, MI on Saturday August 17, 2024 at Noon with a luncheon following.
