Obituary: Jackie “Jack” Joe Lennox

Jackie “Jack” Joe Lennox, age 59 of Lake passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

Jack was born to parents Donald Eugene and Marilyn Rae (Purvis) Lennox in Mt. Pleasant on January 23, 1965. After graduating from Coleman High School, Class of 1984, Jack began working various different jobs. He bartended at the Buckhorn Saloon, spent some time as owner of a restaurant and deli, then began over the road truck driving. He eventually became co-op owner driving for AM Express, investing over 20 years with the trucking company.

He enjoyed traveling, vacationing, truck driving, playing Bingo, Euchre and card games. He loved cooking and Pampered Chef parties.

Jack is survived by his brother, Louis (Nora) Lennox of Mt. Pleasant, sister, Barbara Davis of Clare, nephews Garrett and DJ, nieces Stephanie and Jessica, great nephews Jackson, Shepherd, Skylar and Aiden, great nieces Ella and Lorelei, with one on the way, and close friends Scottie Monroe and Ed Higbee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Marilyn Lennox, grandparents Hazel and Louis Lennox, and Betty and Ralph Purvis.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 pm on Friday, December 6, 2024 at the Gilmore Church of Christ, 2093 W. Coleman Rd., Farwell, MI 48622. A luncheon will immediately follow at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Clark-Campbell Funeral Chapel.
