Jason Roger Herpst, born January 16, 1970, died March 13, 2022. He was the son of Roger and June Herpst; brother to Marjori Cantwell (Joe); husband to Kirsten Herpst; and father to Ethan and William Herpst. Jason grew up in Allegan and graduated from Allegan High School. He attended Western Michigan University and worked at Perrigo. After being a stay at home dad, he worked as an independent painter who amazed clients with his straight ceiling lines. Jason was the guy everybody called when they needed help. He was always there to help a friend move, to paint a wall, or to build some shelves. He did it with a smile and always put in more time and energy than what was expected. Jason loved spending time on the tennis court, riding his motorcycle, bike riding, or just hanging out drinking a beer. He loved working out in the garage with his dad and often built beautiful pieces of furniture. His sons remember a good dad who enjoyed mountain bike adventures, fun times at the cabin, and dressing up in themed family costumes for Halloween. He was loved by many.
