Obituary: Johnny Mac White

If you needed anything- You knew you could call Johnny Mac. There is not a thing he wouldn’t do for friends, family, or strangers alike. If you ever messed up you knew he’d be there to pick up the pieces by your side while laughing with you at your blunder. He found humor in every part of life, keeping everyone in high spirits.

Johnny Mac White, 54, of Lake, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on 8-29-24.

Johnny was a 1988 Graduate of Davison High School, leaving a legacy as a varsity letter awarded Track and Field star. He continued his education specializing in Automotive Collision Technology at Wyoming Technical Institute, finishing with great honors as a class leader. He truly found his niche in the world of real estate blending his love of helping others and meeting new folks. Johnny was employed with Century 21 Northland.

Johnny was typically found tinkering away in his shop on one of his many endeavors as music poured out into every part of the house. One of his first projects, his 1970 Pontiac Firebird, awakened his love of going fast and being loud. Many other loves included being around his kids, playing board games with his mom, and bouncing

around the lake with his many best friends. The lake had his heart as well, spending summers on the water; fishing, boating, and surrounding himself with loved ones.

Johnny Mac is survived by his parents Brenda (Gulledge) White and William White, Siblings- Tina and Mark Metzger, Deshell Johnson (Jeff), Nathan and Allison Lamb, and Kyle Lamb. Three amazing children- Mekensie, Madison, and Matt. Many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased in death by Grandparents Betty and Elgene Gulledge, and a younger brother Jeremy Lamb.

When you hear thunder, just know its Johnny revving his engine to say hello. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know him.

There will be a gathering held to remember Johnny’s life on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at The Club House, 11020 Rock Road, Lake, MI 48632. from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.
