Lois Ann McLemore, 64, passed away Nov. 9, 2024, in Lawton, Michigan. Born May 13, 1960, Lois was a lifelong resident of Lawton and a cherished figure in her community.
Lois dedicated many years to nurturing young minds as an aide at Lawton Elementary School and later worked at Lawson Oil Company and EPC, Mattawan. Her commitment to education and community service was profound, highlighted by her active leadership in 4-H and her unwavering support for Lawton Youth Sports, where she left a lasting impact.
Lois is survived by her loving husband, Michael McLemore; her children, Joseph (Amanda), Alexandria and Matthew; her grandchildren, Hailey, Caleb and Liam; and her brothers, Lewis “Buster”, Rendall and Steven Turner. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis “Buzz” Turner and Cleo Mae Turner.
A celebration of Lois’s life will be held in the spring of 2025. Her legacy of kindness, dedication and community involvement will be remembered by all who knew her.
