Michael R. Piotrowksi, age 68, of Lake passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the Carriage House.
Per Michael’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal services are planned at this time.
Michael was born on November 18, 1956, in Detroit, son of Rainer and Carol (Allen) Piotrowski. He married Julie Ann McGowan on May 31, 1985, in Redford, MI. Michael worked for General Motors Powertrain in Bay City for 28 years and moved to Lake in 1998. He enjoyed hunting, especially goose hunting, fishing, and loved camping with his children.
Michael is survived by his children, Christopher Piotrowski of Lake, Sean (Lindsey) Piotrowski of Texas, and Julie (Josh) Jackson of Mt. Pleasant; six grandchildren; siblings, Patrick (Laurel) Piotrowski of Marshall, MI, Judy Cassel of North Carolina, and Danny (Barbara) Piotrowski of Livonia, MI; step-brother, Chris (Brenda) Brzys of Illinois; and many nieces and nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Julie Piotrowski on June 30, 2022; parents; step-brother, David Brzys; and brother-in-law, Dean Cassel.
