Patricia Iris (Bauer) Terry, 68, of Lawton, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024, at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. She was born May 23, 1956, in Paw Paw, Michigan, the daughter of Walter Bauer and Maxine (Abbott) Bauer.
Patty was a woman of many hobbies and interests. She loved to fish, cook, put together puzzles and hang out with her family, friends and neighbors. During the holiday season, she would set up her wide array of decorations. Patty’s house was always fit for every season and holiday. She also enjoyed watching her favorite TV show, The Andy Griffith Show. Patty was a proud fan of the Fighting Irish and tuned into every game. Go Notre Dame!
She is survived by her daughter, Nicole Smoot; granddaughter, Mackenzie Raymond; brother, Fred (Donna) Beach; her beloved dog, Sandy, and many adored friends and neighbors.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Windle A. Terry on Jan. 12, 2021; sister, Florence Welburn, and brothers, Frances and Thomas Beach.
Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, July 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 502 W. Michigan Ave., Paw Paw, where a funeral service will begin at 4 p.m. Patty will be laid to rest at Oak Grove Cemetery, Lawton at a later date.
